After troubleshooting a problem with a new opener I installed, I narrowed it down to a bad spring. We've been in the house 10 years and have never had a single garage door problem - so, who to call? I hit the internet and the choices were overwhelming. I came across Precision Door. I was impressed by their page and customer reviews so I opened a chat. The rep was very friendly and responsive and the online quote was fair. Dan Kuhn showed up the next day, on time, and broke the news to me as gently as he could. The installed spring was indeed busted, outdated, and in need of replacement. And it wouldn't be cheap. Not Dan's fault, just the nature of the beast. I let Dan replace the spring and also install the second door opener I had purchased. He did an outstanding job with both and was extremely professional, courteous, and friendly throughout. Greatly appreciate your help, Precision Door, and especially sending Dan out to our house!

Your response to my phone call was prompt and efficient. Your technician not only completed the installation but also took the time to pair the signaling devices in my car to the new door opener. He also removed all of the old broken opener. Well done.

The Technician, Monty, was professional, courteous and explained the installation as he worked. He was quick and thorough and made an unexpected expense easy to deal with byvezplaining the warranty and differences between the old enclosed coil system and the new, bigger coil system. Everyone involved was efficient, helpful, and friendly. We were surprised that the service technician was able to come out the next day--a Sunday. When he arrived, he quickly identified the problem and went to work right away to fix it. In all, the repair job took a little over an hour. We were pleased with every aspect of this service.

Only dissatisfaction was that I did not know there was a $100 coupon available for my repair. I have used Precision previously and should have been told this was available. I honestly don't remember how I "found" Precision Overhead the first time, but my first experience was purchasing a garage door opener. A year or so later I purchased two new garage doors and have, per recommendation, had those doors serviced annually. What I've like is the honesty of recommendations and quality of service. Most especially, an effort is extended to have the same rep each time, so he knows me, I know him, and he personally knows the "history" of my past service.

Our remotes (2) were gradually not closing or opening our garage door from our cars. We then started having a problem with the wall unit in the garage trying open/close the door. Called Precision Door Service. Joe Sillitoe came (on time) and did an evaluation. He provided me with a required fix and I gave him the go ahead. Joe immediately went to town explaining each process of the fix. He installed a new motor. Installed sensors at the bottom of the garage door because they were not installed (older model prior to requirement). We received new remotes which don't need to be coded because the new system automatically changes the codes at random. He installed a box outside the garage door so that we could enter a code should we need to enter the garage while working around the house yet not near the remote (in the car). Everything works perfect. Joe was very professional and easy to talk with. I felt very comfortable with his service and the results are exactly what we needed. Thanks again Joe. Kind regards, Bob

I had an appointment with Jason yesterday and I was so impressed. Jason called to let me know what time he would be arriving. When he arrived he asked me questions, assessed the situation and provided me with two options. It is so nice to have someone who listens, provides details and options, and then makes the repairs. No only did he make the repairs by replacing the garage door sesors, he checked everything out on my garage door system to ensure it was all working correctly.
