I recently had surgery and was unable to see what the problem was when a friend bumped into the garage door. Being Friday evening I got online and made an appointment for the next day so we had a functional door as soon as possible. The technician assigned was Wesley who stayed in touch before arriving and was able to fix the issue and did a safety check. Although the issue wasn't severe it was obvious he had an expert of the different doors and their operation from our discussion. Ooo, did I mention he was very curteous and friendly. I'll be a long time customer of Precision and will recommend them to family and friends,

We used Precision Overhead Door in 2015. They did a great job. This morning one of the garage door springs broke. We set up an appointment on line and they were there shortly after they opened. Our technician was Wesley. He did a great job. He explained the options to make the necessary repairs. No high pressure selling. The door works great now. I would highly recommend Precision Overhead Door.

Wes the tech arrived onsite and I explained what we needed to have done. He did his inspection of the doors and provided 3 options pending the condition of the parts. He described what he found and what was needed and the cost. I approved the work and he completed it to our satisfaction. He very professional and friendly and easy to talk with. Technician arrived at stated time, which pleased me and my wife. He explained what might have caused our door to have the problem since it worked well om its own. He serviced our door, tightening bolds, rebalancing springs and lubricating where needed. He was quick and thorough, and very courteous.

I am very dissatisfied with the overall service call. Although the broken torsion spring was ultimately repaired. The following points are why I rate this a single star. Your service rep spent the first part of this call (30- 40 mins) as a sales person and not a service tech. I had to go through his "sales pitch for additional pricing addons" before he actually got to addressing the issue I called Precision about. Secondly, because both of my vehicles were stuck inside the garage because of the single broken torsion spring, I felt compelled to accept your outrageous service pricing so that the work could be completed and I was able to get back to my daily planned activities. By outrageous, I mean your bill that I signed off for. Setting aside the center bearing replacement cost and the approximate cost of the two torsion springs; your labor cost came out to $485 per hour. Since your marketing material indicated free service charge for any repairs performed this would not be part of the high labor cost. The actual repair time was closer to 35-40 mins versus an hour. At $485 labor cost per hour, there is no way I would seek out Precision for any future needs nor recommend them to anyone. You asked if my expectations were met and I am giving you my thoughts of the experience. Sincerely yours;
