I chose Precision because of their relationship with KSAT 12 in San Antonio. While watching the news a commercial for Precision came on. I was impressed with their professionalism and commitment to veterans. I immediately found their website and watched their video on garage doors and how they go above and beyond for their customers. I was Sold!! My wife and I just purchased a new home and knew I had found the right garage door company for us. I set up an appointment and Precision sent out James Ward to be our technician. James was courteous, knowledgeable, and a complete professional. I felt very comfortable purchasing one of their Premium Belt Driven garage door openers because James was Excellent in his education on the different options available. My wife and I are completely Happy and confident in the investment we have made in our Lift Master garage door opener and the trust we have in Precision. the commercial guy said I just love to work on garage doors and he seemed sincere. but the price for the 10 wheels was excessive since I know those bearing wheels are pretty inexpensive in the internet like 4 for 29 bucks ! but I couldn’t wait for my door to failed and hurt my beautiful car so I jumped , last time . all doe the tech was well informed and good working spirit .

I originally purchased my unit in April 2022. That service was great. I love the product. Today, there was a problem with opening the door. I called for service and Kevin determined the base unit needed to be replaced at a cost of $90. I was surprised by that and voiced my concern. Immediately Kevin called the office relaying that I was yelling at him and acted as if he was doing me a favor by even remaining on my property. The person told him to replace it free of charge, which I am grateful for. What I don’t like is the dismissive way that Kevin treated me and the untruthful accusation that I was yelling at him. He even said the person he was talking to agreed that I was yelling at him. Subsequently, I called the office and spoke with Julie, simply to state my side of the story so as not have a black mark on my record. I am very pleased with the responsiveness she delivered. Kevin may be a good technician and a great guy. However, if I were managing him, I would at the very least help him appreciate his role in representing your company towards customers that may have very valid concerns.
At Precision we consider every customers' concerns to be valid. To our understanding your concern was the $90 labor fee, which our technician waived. It states clearly in your invoice #5881097 dated 4/12/22 to expect a labor charge if the need arose for us to come back to your house after 90 days. If he seemed dismissive it probably is because he was forced to call the office as we do not leave our technicians or customers in an unprofessional situation. A customer not wanting to pay for service is deemed highly unprofessional and we must be made aware immediately. Our technician did exactly as he was trained to do. We would very much like to retain you as a customer but not at the sake of our professional integrity.
