Aaron and Juston were sent to my home to inspect a garage door opener that was making a bad noise when it was operated. They did their safety inspection and found that the motor and chain were all part of the problem. They gave me the estimates to repair or to replace. I decided to go ahead and replace it since the home is 23 years old. They did a great job replacing the opener and all of the other things that were needed like springs, pullies, bearings.

I am very dissatisfied with the overall service call. Although the broken torsion spring was ultimately repaired. The following points are why I rate this a single star. Your service rep spent the first part of this call (30- 40 mins) as a sales person and not a service tech. I had to go through his "sales pitch for additional pricing addons" before he actually got to addressing the issue I called Precision about. Secondly, because both of my vehicles were stuck inside the garage because of the single broken torsion spring, I felt compelled to accept your outrageous service pricing so that the work could be completed and I was able to get back to my daily planned activities. By outrageous, I mean your bill that I signed off for. Setting aside the center bearing replacement cost and the approximate cost of the two torsion springs; your labor cost came out to $485 per hour. Since your marketing material indicated free service charge for any repairs performed this would not be part of the high labor cost. The actual repair time was closer to 35-40 mins versus an hour. At $485 labor cost per hour, there is no way I would seek out Precision for any future needs nor recommend them to anyone. You asked if my expectations were met and I am giving you my thoughts of the experience. Sincerely yours;

Hello. Wes came out to review my door sweep troubles after cement work was done there was a gap on the left. He brought out a stout door sweep. Installed it after measures. Then he adjusted the door by the central control intricately and that solved the last bit of a gap! The fine door sweep seal also covered up a slight crimp at the bottom done during my build sadly that my builder did not clear up. So needless to say very relieved Wes came out. I found your website online and was hooked by Stella’s photo and bio. I made an online appointment and picked an early time-slot expecting to get a follow up call that a tech could come out sometime later or next week, like it seems for most residential service needs. I was happily surprised that my request was promptly answered and that Ricky was en route well within the requested time window. We had a hung door and were unable to close the garage door. Ricky was professional and knowledgeable, and provided clear understanding for our garage door issues and answered my random questions about the process. The work was completed expertly and the garage door operates far better than it has since we moved in. We appreciate Ricky’s work and I would definitely recommend Precision if anyone else in our neighborhood experiences an issue with their garage door.

Unfortunately in our first time using the door it opened fine but will not close....72 hours since the install! Getting error code 4-1 and excessive force closing message
