When we experienced an issue with our garage door we looked up the company that did the prior service 15+ years ago and planned to call them but got a coupon in the mail so decided to call Precision. It was very easy to make an appointment quickly and Justin called to confirm time plus was able to come earlier which was great! He was very thorough, professional and friendly. His explanation of the issues and options for repair was clear and detailed and the execution of the option we chose was timely and he showed us all the work/replacements he did. We are very pleased with him and Precision and will definitely call on you in the future should the need arise.

I chose Precision Garage Door because I received a flyer in the mail. Up until now, I had never experienced any problems with my garage doors, but unfortunately, this was the day I needed repair service. The technician arrived promptly and was professional during the inspection. After reviewing the issue, he provided an estimate of $421 for a basic spring repair, which included a $25 coupon discount. While the technician was evaluating the problem, I researched the repair online and found several other companies offering the same service at a lower price and with significantly better warranties than the 90-day warranty that was offered to me. One reason I initially considered Precision was because the flyer stated that the company is veteran-owned and operated. As a veteran myself, I asked whether any additional discount was available, but I was told that no further discount could be provided. I also have two garage doors, so I expect I will need service and maintenance again in the future. I was looking for a company that could become my long-term service provider. Unfortunately, the combination of higher pricing, a limited warranty, and the lack of any additional veteran discount did not provide enough value for me to move forward with Precision. Based on those factors, I elected to go with another company for the repair. The technician was courteous and professional, but the overall value did not meet my expectations.

Chris was the technician that arrived on time and was extremely professional. He not only fixed the issue I had with the garage door opener but also took the time to review the initial installation. He noticed a slight angle on the unit and took the time to move the unit to the correct angle so as to not have any additional strain on the opener over time. The technician that came out to my place of residence, did a fantastic job! The technician gave me quite a few options and did not try to upsell me on things that were not needed. The technician also diagnosed the problem with efficiency and precision for both of my garage doors I chose the option I wanted and the technician got to work and finished in a timely manner. It was slightly pricey, as all things these days, but you get what you pay for and it was totally worth it! Thank you again!!

The technician who came was very courteous and professional. The overhead door was not always closing. Of course it preformed perfectly while he was here. He checked everything and couldn't find anything wrong. It is still doing the same thing, but we always manage to find a way to close it. He said it was a courtesy call and didn't charge us.

A couple of days ago I was going to go to Walgreens for senior day. I got in the car to go and tried to close the garage door but the remote failed. I then went to open the garage door with the outside remote, but it failed also. So I called Precision Garage Door to get an appointment with their technician. This company originally installed the garage door opener about 20 years ago. During that time we have regular maintenance and have been extremely pleased with them. The next morning Wes, the technician came over and found boxes blocking the sensor. I felt so bad that I wasted his time. Wes was so professional and so friendly and comforting to me. He didn’t charge me and asked if he could inspect the garage door opener while he was there and he would submit his findings to me. He gave me 2 maintenance plans and a plan for a new motor since ours is over 20 years old. I am very pleased with the price of our options and very happy with the company and its quality. I asked if I could purchase and install a new Genie myself, and he was kind enough to recommend a belt-drive vs. screw drive. Contacted Precision Overhead Door for a garage door tuneup. It had been a while since I last contacted them, but they still had my contact information. I asked when the next available appointment would be, and they indicated they could be out that afternoon between 12 and 4. The technician, Brian Scalia, arrived at 2:30. He did a thorough evaluation of the door, lubricated the joints, realigned the tracks to make the door run more smoothly, and identified some areas for possible maintenance in the future.
