I had an appointment with that "other" company who never showed up. I emailed Precision at 7:30 pm hoping they would see it first thing in the morning. They called me within 5 minutes and set an appointment for the next day. The technician was running ahead of schedule and called to see if he could come early. Amazing customer service from both the technician and scheduling staff! Travis was great - told me exactly what I needed. He made suggestions but did not try to push me into stuff I didn't need yet. I will definitely use this company long tern and recommend them to friends.

I called Precision because our garage door broke and I could not get the door opened or closed. I called another company I had used before but they quoted 4 days to come out, which was not going to work. After some online searching I called Precision because they could do same day and the reviews from other customers were so good. I’m glad I did. My technician, Nur, talked me through all of my options, showed me the inherent weaknesses in my existing system (which the other company had not), and got me up and running again.

Booked my appointment online as soon as my torsion spring had snapped around 7pm. By 10am the next day, Kevin Walls was at my house, and he called about 30m ahead of time to let me know he was on the way. Kevin was a fantastic technician and very personable. There was no up-selling, and he worked with me on what I need and don’t need. He completed the job in less than an hour, and he walked me through the work when he was done. Everything is digital with Precision as well. They bring an iPad, show the detailed breakdown of your bill, and process payment electronically with an email receipt. Thanks Kevin!

Tech came out. And right away wanting to sell me new door and warranty , afraid to attempt to repaire door, not afraid to charge me.
Hello Mr. Torres, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We do research based on customer comments to make improvements on how to better serve our customer. While doing this I viewed the Safety Inspection Checklist completed by the Technician while he was in your garage. Out of 25 safety items 11 of those items were a FAIL. To refresh your memory I am including the FAILED items in my response. The following items are on the FAIL list. Door Condition: Door Balance, Spring Tension, Rollers, Cables (homeowner supplied wrong size), Center Bearing, Hinges on Left side worn out, Right side replaced by Homeowner, Bottom Weatherseal, Panel Condition – all stiles pulling away from panels. Operator Condition: Surge protector, Operator Reinforcement Bracket Tech Evaluation: Windsor door, stiles pulling away from sections. Homeowner attempted to fix. Homeowner replaced cables at the same time and dropped all tension on spring. Door is structurally compromised and requires replacement of entire system. Windsor doors are no longer available in the San Antonio market. Since the stiles on your Windsor door are pulling away from the panels we are not able to replace the panels. After completing the research into your review I have found the Technician presented you with the most cost-effective option to repair your door. Unfortunately for you, the best option is to replace the door not to repair it.

I filled out an online request for service late on a Friday night and within minutes received a phone call and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Brent came out and within minutes had checked out the garage opener and suggested three options for repairs and gave me his honest recommendation. Patrick responded within an hour of my call for service on my garage door that would not open. The door is several years old so I was expecting to have to replace it. After Patrick assessed the problem, he said it was easily repairable and he could do a complete overhaul. He did an excellent job and was finished within 2 hours. Precision may not be the lowest cost garage door company in the area but you can’t beat their prompt service and quality work. You get what you pay for!
