I am greatly pleased with the service provided Precision Garage Door Service. When I called to schedule the service, Tori was very professional, courteous, and respectful. I was pleased that she was able to provide me an appointment for the next day. The great service continued as the technician, Kevin Walls came to service my garage door. He called and informed me that he was available to come earlier. Kevin was also very professional, courteous, respectful, and he was very competent. He took the time to thoroughly explain the reason for challenges I was experiencing. My experiences with this company for the past several years have been great, and this recent experience was exceptional as well. I believe their prices are very reasonable. After seeing a commercial for Precision I called and made an appointment for broken spring replacements. Kevin explained the work needed and was able to get my garage door working again in short order. He was very professional and friendly. I originally purchased my unit in April 2022. That service was great. I love the product. Today, there was a problem with opening the door. I called for service and Kevin determined the base unit needed to be replaced at a cost of $90. I was surprised by that and voiced my concern. Immediately Kevin called the office relaying that I was yelling at him and acted as if he was doing me a favor by even remaining on my property. The person told him to replace it free of charge, which I am grateful for. What I don’t like is the dismissive way that Kevin treated me and the untruthful accusation that I was yelling at him. He even said the person he was talking to agreed that I was yelling at him. Subsequently, I called the office and spoke with Julie, simply to state my side of the story so as not have a black mark on my record. I am very pleased with the responsiveness she delivered. Kevin may be a good technician and a great guy. However, if I were managing him, I would at the very least help him appreciate his role in representing your company towards customers that may have very valid concerns.

At Precision we consider every customers' concerns to be valid. To our understanding your concern was the $90 labor fee, which our technician waived. It states clearly in your invoice #5881097 dated 4/12/22 to expect a labor charge if the need arose for us to come back to your house after 90 days. If he seemed dismissive it probably is because he was forced to call the office as we do not leave our technicians or customers in an unprofessional situation. A customer not wanting to pay for service is deemed highly unprofessional and we must be made aware immediately. Our technician did exactly as he was trained to do. We would very much like to retain you as a customer but not at the sake of our professional integrity.

Called at 2:30 and Kevin was here at 4:00. Extremely pleased with his promptness and explanation of what was the problem with my garage door. Did not try to “up-sell” me in any way. Plus my dog loved him and Cooper is a great judge of character. They will be my go-to from now on.

The technician was prompt and polite. He inspected the door and the broken spring. He told me because the door was small cracks in three places he could not just replace the springs. Those cracks had been in the door for the past five years with no problems. The company was providing me with estimates to replace the door. I was dissatisfied that they would not complete the repair that I needed.
