You charged me $15 to reset my keypad. Really??? I handed the repair person a Kleenex. I should have charged him $15 for it.

Service guy was nice , but had to pay for the repair because first installers didn’t know what they were doing and in a hurry. My wife will be calling on Monday to fix this.. it’s not right to pay twice to get garage doors and opener on house and then pay again , cause they did shitty work
- Eric Sell
Thanks for taking our call and allowing us to rectify the situation. We appreciate your business.
Yea these guys are really nice and take care of you , I was just heated at the moment, and didn’t I understand, but all in all I would have these guys do my garage doors any time and just want to recant my last review , they take care of you as the customer

I originally purchased my unit in April 2022. That service was great. I love the product. Today, there was a problem with opening the door. I called for service and Kevin determined the base unit needed to be replaced at a cost of $90. I was surprised by that and voiced my concern. Immediately Kevin called the office relaying that I was yelling at him and acted as if he was doing me a favor by even remaining on my property. The person told him to replace it free of charge, which I am grateful for. What I don’t like is the dismissive way that Kevin treated me and the untruthful accusation that I was yelling at him. He even said the person he was talking to agreed that I was yelling at him. Subsequently, I called the office and spoke with Julie, simply to state my side of the story so as not have a black mark on my record. I am very pleased with the responsiveness she delivered. Kevin may be a good technician and a great guy. However, if I were managing him, I would at the very least help him appreciate his role in representing your company towards customers that may have very valid concerns.

At Precision we consider every customers' concerns to be valid. To our understanding your concern was the $90 labor fee, which our technician waived. It states clearly in your invoice #5881097 dated 4/12/22 to expect a labor charge if the need arose for us to come back to your house after 90 days. If he seemed dismissive it probably is because he was forced to call the office as we do not leave our technicians or customers in an unprofessional situation. A customer not wanting to pay for service is deemed highly unprofessional and we must be made aware immediately. Our technician did exactly as he was trained to do. We would very much like to retain you as a customer but not at the sake of our professional integrity.

The tech did a good job. I feel from what I learned about what work was done that Precision Garage Door Repair is Over Priced.

Did not appreciate the lowball estimate given by the office. When finalizing the order the $500 per door increase was a little bit of a surprise. Appears to be business standard though.
- Stephen West
Thank you for your review Mr. West. We need feedback from our customers both satisfied and unsatisfied to improve our business. I understand you are displeased with our pricing. Unfortunately, our prices have changed since August 2020 when our office first provided a quote for you. Also, as of January 1,2021, all manufacturers have a implemented a price increase on all doors and parts by a percentage. Which also means our company was affected by this decision. We are working diligently to minimize the effect it will have on our customers. We appreciate your business and hope you understand. Please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss this matter.

These folks do excellent work however they are quite expensive. I have had them out twice over the past 8 months and did not receive a receipt either time. I left a voicemail message for the owner Martin and he has not returned my call a month later.

Technician examined garage door and provided his estimate for the service call and spring replacement. As we lifted the door, he discovered the bottom left bracket had come unscrewed from the door. I was surprised by the bill because it was $45 higher than he quoted me. He should have come clean and told me up front it would cost more since he had to use additional screws. Honesty always earns higher scores; today he only earned three stars.

Very satisfied with work performed by Precision's tech Monty Morales. Arrived when promised and very courteous. Only dissatisfaction was that I did not know there was a $100 coupon available for my repair. I have used Precision previously and should have been told this was available. I found the coupon after the work was done and paid for.

I am disappointed in the articulation between the slats on the door I chose. You cannot see the planks from the street, only the segments of the door. The installer did a good job, was cooperative, left the area clean and put almost everything back where it was before he got here. I wish he had drilled a pilot hole in the framing because he split some of the framing wood with the larger screws. Please send me a complete invoice from down payment to completion.

Excellent scheduling, showed up on time, door diagnosed and fixed in a couple of hours. However, the pricing was sky high at 500+for a spring repair, but I did not have time to shop around. Touted lifetime guarantee, but I had to call the office after to get a copy of it. Technician Joe was excellent.

My garage door did get fixed. According to their website: "Garage Door Repair Within 4 Hours- Guaranteed! We will be out to repair your door within 4 hours or we will waive the service fee. No questions asked." I called in about 5pm, we were told that the service tech would not be out until the next morning 9-11am. The tech didn't arrive until after 11am. Service call was not waived. The service tech tried to, in my opinion, oversell during the service call with unnecessary items, such as, track rollers to reduce noise. Now today, I just had to scrub my garage door (light tan) because of large black grease spots down the entire center portion of the door, this is 2 days after service call.

Very knowledgeable and professional technician (Bruce). However I am not satisfied with having to pay the labor cost to repair a mistake made by the initial installer of the new garage door.
